In 2021, the Danblock brand expanded its portfolio with a line of products for passenger cars - brake pads and brake discs.
Danblock is the highest quality brake pads for trucks, recently available on the Polish market. However, the history of the Danblock brand goes far back to the times of World War II - then brake linings were produced under this name. Since its inception, Danblock has referred to its origins - even in its name. Danblock is an abbreviation of Danmark Block, i.e. Danish braking. For years, Danblock enjoyed the recognition of customers in Western European markets, and was most successful on the domestic market - in Denmark. From the beginning of its existence, Danblock has been owned by the Danish automotive market tycoon Roulunds Braking. Roulunds Braking is a company with an impressive tradition - it was founded in 1736 in Denmark, and the production of friction materials began immediately after the end of the First World War in 1926. A new chapter in the company's history began in 2003, when it was taken over by the American concern MAT, thanks to which it gained access to global technologies, foreign capital and the global automotive market. Currently, Roulunds Braking is one of the largest global producers of high-quality friction materials for the automotive market, supplying customers around the world. Both then and now, Danblock represents the highest quality Scandinavian technical thought and years of experience in the automotive market.

In Danblock brake pads, we use high-quality metal shim and accessories, such as a wear sensor and screws, which were created with the automotive industry in mind. Our products are based on a special mixture of friction materials that were developed by experts from our R&D team operating within the global MAT holding. BRAKE DISCS
We produce our brake discs in accordance with strict guidelines provided by original parts manufacturers (OEM), which guarantees optimal contact parameters between the pad and the disc and trouble-free operation. Our dial design is carefully adapted to original equipment (OE) requirements, ensuring excellent performance and durability. Additionally, the high-quality anti-corrosion coating not only ensures an aesthetic appearance, but also significantly extends the life of the disc. Each DANBLOCK brake disc undergoes comprehensive quality control, during which it is subjected to static and dynamic balancing. This process eliminates all vibrations, which translates into better driving comfort. In addition, eliminating vibrations helps to increase the life of bearings and steering components, which is important for the long-term reliability and efficiency of the vehicle.

BRAKE PADS
Danblock offers the highest quality products, which are the result of our commitment to improving braking solutions. Our products guarantee excellent performance and durability. The friction material used in our brake pads has been carefully selected and has unique properties. Thanks to the high compressibility of the material, we provide users with exceptional braking comfort while extending the life of the disc. Our asbestos-free friction material does not contain heavy metals and minimizes disc wear thanks to increased durability at high temperatures. The use of a high-quality bonding layer in our products ensures excellent soundproofing, minimizing noise when braking. The wire mesh technology used in the carrier plate provides exceptional shear strength of the material from the plate, exceeding the R90 standard twice. Moreover, it guarantees a strong connection of the friction material with the backing plate, preventing internal corrosion. Additionally, the durable coating of the metal plate protects it against corrosion. Our lapping layer ensures higher braking efficiency from the very beginning of operation. The running-in process is shortened to a minimum thanks to the use of rubbing agents with a high coefficient of friction. The shape of the lapping layer ensures quick distribution of the rubbing factor over the entire surface of the pad and at the same time prevents roughness of the disc surface, which translates into smoother operation. Additionally, each of our products is equipped with engraved markings that enable easy identification (traceability) and confirm full compliance with the requirements of the ECE R90 regulation. The reference number contains a highly traceable WVA number, making the product easy to recognize. Each package of our products contains a complete set of dedicated accessories, which allows for quick and convenient installation. We offer our products "ready to install", reducing the time and effort needed for installation. Danblock brake discs are distinguished by an innovative anti-corrosion coating called GeoMet. GeoMet is a special coating that has been designed to provide protection against corrosion and minimize its impact on brake discs. This advanced coating technology is crucial because brake discs are exposed to various factors such as moisture, road salt and other chemicals. GeoMet protects brake discs against corrosion, which contributes to extending their life and maintaining optimal braking performance. One of the main advantages of the GeoMet coating is its ability to facilitate the process of replacing brake discs. By minimizing the occurrence of corrosion on the disc surface, GeoMet eliminates the risk of rust and clogging of the mounting screws, which can hinder or delay the process of disc disassembly and assembly. This, in turn, translates into efficiency and time savings for mechanics and lower service costs for end users. GeoMet coating is also widely used in original equipment (OE) products. This means that brake discs with a GeoMet coating are used by car manufacturers during factory assembly. This gives customers confidence that Danblock products meet the highest quality and safety standards, which is especially important in the case of critical components such as brake discs.
